Job Description

An Amazon Customer Service Associate holds a crucial role in delivering prompt, accurate, and professional support to Amazon customers. This position demands an action-oriented and adaptable problem-solver who assists customers in streamlining orders and resolving post-sales issues. Associates engage with customers via email, chat, and phone and are hired based on their skill sets to efficiently navigate customer accounts, review policies, and provide effective solutions in a dynamic and enjoyable work environment.

  • Proficiency in using desktop computer systems.
  • Familiarity with Windows XP, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Internet Explorer.
  • Excellent typing skills.
  • Understanding of the Internet, Amazon.com website, and competitor websites.
  • Skillful navigation of websites.
  • Proficiency in email applications.
  • Willingness to learn using various media.
  • Adaptability to changes in the work environment.

 

Customer Focus:

  • Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on resolving issues promptly in a fast-paced setting.
  • Empathetic approach and ability to prioritize customer needs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with a diverse customer base.
  • Competence in conflict resolution, negotiation, and de-escalation.
